The Beatles Stereo Box Set Review
I was disappointed with the 1987 CDs, so I put my Mobile Fidelity albums (state of the art record albums back then, from the master tapes) onto CD around 1992 and have been listening to those since. I long since sold my 1987 CDs. Now I can get rid of those Mobile Fidelity CDs because the sound quality of these remastered CDs exceeds even them. For those 1987 CDs the first four albums were in mono. I can sort of understand that for the first two, with their distinct, wide 2-track separation. But the second two had four-track and sounded great in stereo. At any rate, I preferred all four in stereo. So went to extreme measures to get it, in quality. Now those are all here in glorious stereo in this set. as afraid that they would narrow the separation on the first two albums. Fortunately they did not. If you want to listen to those two with headphones, you may be disappointed with the sound — get the mono, but listening to them through speakers, several feet away, the stereo adds an outstanding dimension to the sound. Throughout this set, the bass is more evident, the drums are sharper – the quality just jumps out at you throughout — a testament to the much more sophisticated digitization techniques they have today than in 1987. A job well done!

If you can’t tell a huge improvement in the sound quality over these remasters and the 87 releases then I’m really puzzled. Like many of the folks out there I’ve owned the Beatles music on all the formats over the years. Album, eight track, cassette, and of course on the day they were released in 1987, CD. I think these stereo remasters sound beautiful. I think it’s like a fog has lifted over the music to let it really shine through. I don’t listen to headphones so the whole stereo separation issue is not a problem. Good speakers and proper speaker placement render this so called problem resolved. I own the mono box set too and it’s fantastic also. To compare the two is like comparing apples to oranges. One other thing. It really bothers me to see people who don’t even own this set review it. I’ll never understand that. Be happy and enjoy the music.

I’m not going to waste your time complaining about corporations releasing remasters to make more money, nor whether Yoko broke up the Beatles or claim that only my dog can hear the difference between both editions. But what I will say is that the sound quality is basically the difference between standard TV and HD TV when comparing the regular CD and the Remastered CD. I listened to several of the albums today through high end headphones and a headphone amp and I was mesmerized by the sound quality. You can hear sounds such as a chair move, an inhale before a note is sung and you can visualize the bass strings moving on the bass during While My Guitar Gently Weeps. I compared both songs from the old and new disk and there is a big difference. Original sounds flat while the remastered sounds three dimensional and rich. I highly recommend it if you appreciate good, rich sound. Do you need to own both sets of disks? That’s your call. If you are into good sound (you probably have an HDTV) then buy it. If you just like to hear music on your radio and aren’t moved by quality sound, don’t waste your money (you probably have a tube TV).

I bought this cincher to flatten and smooth my waistline beneath a bridesmaids dress. I have had two children and I have a permanent pooch in the front, I am also carrying extra weight from my last pregnancy still. While I didn’t expect this to take away any inches, it does what I hoped for! My tummy is flat and my waist is nipped in the right spots. It is a comfortable garment, I expected the worst, scratchy, binding, bulging, but it is none of those things! When I pulled it around my waist, I thought it was going to be too small, it was difficult to pull the sides of it together over my baby belly, but I had ordered according to the size chart on Rago’s website, so I persevered. Once it was all hooked, I could see it was the perfect size, any larger and it wouldn’t have been as effective, any tighter and I would have that bulging thing going on. I recommend this for anyone looking to smooth and add shape to their waistline, for that special event or just for an everyday confidence boost!

I had a difficult time finding an xs waist cincher, but this is a great fit. I just needed a little help fitting into my wedding dress and this did a perfect job!

I purchased this item to help cinch things up under a bridesmaid’s dress. While it did do the job, by the time we got to the reception I was pretty uncomfortable. The boning in the cincher pokes you in the ribs if you wear it for much longer than an hour or 2.

The quality of this item is excellent but runs very small. I would order at least one to two sizes larger.

This waist cincher did nothing for me. Very hard to put on. Maybe if you are a size 14 or below it might do something but not for the plus size woman.

I have owned the previous generation SCALA Rider Teamset for a few years and recently decided to purchase the Q2 system for bike-to-bike communication also. The additional benefit of this system is improved audio volume, range and clarity. I’m pretty happy so far and although I use every other feature, I have not used the FM nor do I plan too, since I’ll be riding in the country where FM station are not too prominent. All in all this Q2 system is much improved over that system andd well worth the price.

I purchased the scala rider Q2 multiset for my dad for fathers day this year. Both of us ride and i thought it would be great for our upcoming cross-country trip. I have found that it is not only good for bike- to- bike communication, but you can use it as a phone, mp3 player, gps, etc. while riding! I was surprised at how easy it was to install into our full-faced helmets. After installing we charged the batteries and took it for a test. His helmet has no visor right now but I could still hear him talking to me while cruising down the highway at 70+. He could hear me perfectly with my visor down! Ipods and any other headphone operated Mp3 players will connect simply and phones with bluetooth will allow the headsets to act as those bluetooth ear-piece things to make for easy calling and receiving of calls! I may update after our trip if anything goes wrong, but as of now it seems like an awesome piece of technology!

A few months ago my brother and rode the Texas Hill Country for two days and talked to each other the whole time. That was enough to make it worth the price. But in addition I found that being able to stay in touch was a great safety factor. I was able to alert my brother to any traffic problems or construction. I was in the lead and had the handle bar mounted GPS. This enabled me to let him know when the next turn was coming up. I like this unit so much I have purchased another single unit as well as another helmet so when I ride with other people they can use my extra helmet and stay in touch. This thing is a must if you ride with anyone else. Oh yeah, I have told people that I am talking on a blue tooth phone while doing 60 mph on a motorcycle and they don’t believe me.

This is what you’re looking for! ‘Nuff said; but, I’ll say more. I’ve been looking for the perfect set for a couple of years now and I think that state of the art hadn’t caught up with what I knew we could do, until now. Want one? Wait no more, look no further, this is it! You need nothing more. I’m a big big guy, and I ‘always’ have trouble with fit, these already come with the microphone boom which is long enough. Installation was no problem at all. They go quickly onto the helmets, tight. The only modifications I made were to hide the earphone wiring. I cut small slits near the unit to slip the wiring into the padding, out of sight, and that’s it. The ear speaker sound is great, so much volume, so much quality for such little speakers. No noise, blocks wind like you want and hope for. Excellent quality between driver and passenger for voice and music. We don’t have two bikes, and ride two up but we got such a kick out of them the fist night we wore them into the house. She went before me, and I finished up at the bike. No loss of quality, no loss of signal. I think it would have no problem with two riders within a quarter mile or more.

My only complaint, is that the FM radio is hard to tune. With only four buttons on the whole thing, tuning is a pain. You have to press and hold the top button (for up) or the bottom button (for down) for three seconds to engage the auto tune, and they are HARD to press. The auto tune is not the greatest, and does not always find the station the first swing past. Not a problem, except for the sore fingers. Example: Go up and find station, move up and decide you like the last station better. Go down to previous station and it may or may not find it. I needed to tune to a specific frequency to use the built in FM transmitter in my GPS and had a very difficult time locating the signal; the signal strength was stronger than some stations it found. In other words: it does not discriminate well in the scan mode while trying to find FM stations. I’d rather have had it do a slow to medium tune, up or down, than auto scan. But, don’t let that stop you; I DID find my GPS stations, for both rider and passengers, I found most stations (eventually I’ll have them all). Other than that, everything is exactly what I was hoping for. Married the Bluetooth to phone, no problem. Unit was already married to 2nd set in the box for the passenger. In my excitement I skipped the first page showing where all the buttons were, and what they were called. My fault, but easy to do. Don’t do that. The extra headsets you see that you can buy separate are scala are compatible and identical to the ones that come with the two in this box. I ordered thinking my microphone boom may have been small, and it was not and works great. The booms in the box are the longer large ones. I highly recommend the whole thing.

This is the best case I have seen! By looking at the pictures I was nervous it would be too bulky but it really isn’t! Yes it adds a little bulk but not much more than your typical case. But with this case you get SO much more than your typical case! My kids LOVE to play with my phone! So I sought out a durable case to protect my investment! This was the only one I found that makes me comfortable letting my kids play with it whenever and where ever! I wanted a case that had a protective screen and not just a sticker one like you see all over. This case is amazing and so durable! I recommend it to everyone! Amazing!

This is an outstanding case but be aware that it’s quite bulky. I’d recommend this case if your iPhone is subjected to tough conditions or your are prone to drop your iPhone. After using it for a couple of weeks, I went back to a more sleek case simply because the ratio of safety to carrying convenience doesn’t fit my lifestyle.

I am a clumsy person and have dropped my phone numerous times. Thankfully, I have the otterbox to protect it. It is completely protected, and even when I dropped it in the rain–it was ok. I scratched the screen the second day I got the iPhone, but thankfully received the otterbox the next day and have had no further problems. The only issue I have (which seems to be everyone’s complaint) is that the between the screen and the barrier it causes an oil slick looking thing. It makes it seem dirty and that really bothers me. It is worth that minor inconvenience for the amazing protection the phone has. My husband got an iPhone recently and also bought one. I have pink (bright, bubblegum pink) and he has black.

I have waited to purchase this case for my iPhone due to some of the reviews. I did not want a “muffled sound” nor did I want things looking like “Water Marks” on my screen. I did not want any of my buttons being compromised like the silent buttons. I went ahead and ordered the Otter Box to find out for myself and it’s nothing like the reviews explained. I went to the apple store first and purchase the AntiGlare Film for the iPhone 3G which is about $14.95 for a 2 pack. This film makes for a clear screen when assembling your Otter Box on your iPhone. I assembled my Otter Box with NO water marks or oily marks I didn’t have to wipe it across my face either lol. Much to my surprise ALL my buttons are accessible even the silent buttons. Case is NOT bulky for me and I happen to be a GIRL, it adds character to my phone plus you can actually see the apple on the back of the phone. In short I love this case, I have 3 other case-mate cases and a Speck case and this is my favorite compared to the Otter Box the others have NO PROTECTION at all. I am a type A personality so I like to have my things just so… I do not like my phone to have scratches or show signs of damage. This is the perfect case for me Thanks Otter Box for the Awesome job on the case!

I bought the OtterBox 3G Defender for my iPhone through their website, but I thought I’d mention how happy I am with it here. I’ve heard a lot of complaints about the oil slicking effect under the membrane, but that problem was very easily solved, and hasn’t reoccurred since I placed my phone in the case for the final time. Calls are clear through it, and clear on the other end. I’ve heard a few people mention a tunneling effect, but that doesn’t seem present. All my calls have been just as clear as they were in my last phone case. The OtterBox case is really protective, and of all the cases I’ve looked at so far, the sturdiest case for the iPhone 3G that I’ve seen. I highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a solid case for his or her phone. Well worth the money!

Clarisonic Gentle Hydro Cleanser Review
I enjoy using this cleanser with the Clarisonic brush. It doesn’t foam, but my face feels very clean and soft after using it. After about 6 weeks of use, the cleanser still hasn’t caused any irritation or breakouts on my sensitive skin. It also hasn’t created any oiliness or dryness, just the perfect amount of cleansing. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the cost – $25 for a 6 oz bottle is just wrong! After using the cleanser that came with the Clarisonic brush, I just had to have more so I bit the bullet and bought more, hopefully the price will go down before I need more.

This cleanser comes with the clarisonic. I love it. It’s definitely not the kind that strips your skin of moisture. Together with the Clarisonic…its a match made in heaven. This company really did their homework. I am impressed!

When I bought the Clarisonic Skin Care Brush I thought that the solution that comes with the brush was just a scam. I was wrong. My skin is extremely sensitive and acne prone so it won’t take most of the cleansers out there without an allergy reaction. I’ve been using this product it’s been 2 months now, twice a day, and never had any problems with it, on the contrary. After using this product your skin feels clean but not dry as well as smooth too. All you need is a dab or two of the solution because it spreads easily all over your face and neck. One tube will last you more than one month and it’s worth every penny.

This product works well with the Clarisonic Brush. It is great for dry skin. I have dermatitis and it doesn’t irritate my skin, just makes it feel better. Use twice a day with Clarisonic Brush. It doesn’t burn the eyes and makes the brush work smoothly over the face.

I splurged and got three of these for Christmas. I have extremely delicate facial skin, and this is nice and gentle. I don’t like heavy scented products. This has a very lite scent like fresh cucumbers. I gave it 4 stars only because of the price. Cetaphil [which I usually use] is just as nice, and the price is so much lower. I can’t see me buying this again at this price!!
